Prayer and Worship is central to the life of our parish. We believe that prayer is at the foundation of all that we do in our parish and that if our different programmes are not supported by prayer we are at nothing.
The Eucharistic celebration is the source and summit of our faith which we seek to live and serve with the whole of our lives in vibrant and creative ways.
We believe excellence in our worship honors God.

We currently have two groups in the parish involved in Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina is a form of prayer focused on the scriptures. In our parish the Lectio Divina groups focus on the Sunday Gospel. It involves reading and rereading the Sunday Gospel and seeing what message Jesus has for the community and for me personally.
Basically we are trying to discern how the Sunday Gospel is relevant in our lives today.
This special novena Mass takes place once a month in St Michaels Church Rathmolyon.
The next date of the Mass is advertised on the current Parish Newsletter. During this Mass there is also an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of the Sick.

Each year there is a Tridium in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption in August
A weeklong Festival of Faith is run each year in the Parish during the month of September with a novena Mass in honor of the Holy Family each evening of the Novena.
